Professional Activities

Joyce Young has been involved with several public and private organizations throughout her career. She has lent her tallents to universities, non profit organiztions, museums, etc... She has stated that each indivdual experience has inspired her to become more involved with the next. Some of her most memorable activities were with the group Mixed Media (pictured below) which was comprised of artists that specialized in a wide variety of art mediums and professional backgrounds. The group which was comprised of some very notable artist is now defunct, but the impact they had on each other helped to propell them to very succcessful individual careers. She has listed some of her other activities below.
