Joyce Phillips Young has recieved many awards and honors throughout her, 40+ year, involment in the arts and art education. While each and evey instance holds a special sense of accomplishment there are simply too many to list. Featured 2009 artist Florida Community College at Jacksonville, Rosanne R. Hartwell Women’s Center Each year the Center produces an impressive poster calendar featuring an image of a woman by a woman. Joyce’s well known image “Mother Earth” was selected from among many other artists in the United States for this honor
